Solar Fields, Formations: In the Headphones
I have been totally attached to this group for over a decade, and their releases have never failed to make me feel…something. Ambient music can stray into boredom or over-abstract tonelessness, but not Solar Fields. Every track is brimming with earnest energy, crescendos and growls that build out a sonic landscape between your ears. Soaring.
